To build and execute upon a shared community vision for Wilton’s multi-sport fields and facilities, and recreational play spaces to enhance the lives of all Wilton residents, now and for generations to come.
WARF was founded in 2018 and has formed a public-private partnership with the Town of Wilton. Through relationships with town leaders, Wilton Public School administrators, youth and high school sports program leaders and their participating families and the Wilton community at large, WARF seeks to bring exciting projects to the forefront in the areas of sports and recreation infrastructure.
WARF stands for equal opportunities in sport and recreation. Our collective efforts will help build and improve the infrastructure in Wilton to promote healthy lifestyles, new relationships, and shared experiences through free play and organized athletic participation.
The WARF vision is both long term in nature (an organization to empower community investment for generations to come) while also highly focused on a number of highly impactful projects that can be executed in the near term.
WARF funding sources include corporate sponsorships and advertising drives, team promotions, and capital raising campaigns for new infrastructure and facility improvements.
